Thank you for meeting with me to discuss the challenges and goals for RE/MAX First. It’s clear that while you offer significant value, you’re facing aggressive competition from newer, “shinier” brokerage models like EPIQUE and EXP. This has resulted in difficulties in attracting top-performing agents.
The core challenge is a perception gap. While competitors offer the allure of new tech and alternative compensation, they often cannot match the unwavering stability, robust support staff and locations, or the leadership and culture that RE/MAX First provides – advantages that statistically lead to higher earnings for agents. Furthermore, the market holds outdated perceptions of RE/MAX & RE/MAX First, viewing it as more expensive (“FEE/MAX”) and old-fashioned.
This proposal outlines a digital marketing strategy designed to address this challenge directly. Our approach is intended to reshape the narrative, attract experienced and ambitious agents, and empower your current team by reinforcing the immense value you offer.
2. About Block Marketing
My background is in the agency world, where I worked with major national brands like StoryPoint Group and EmPower HR. My experience taught me that while large corporations have massive resources, many successful smaller businesses hit a growth roadblock and are left behind.
I saw too many passionate leaders – experts in their own fields, like you – frustrated by marketing guesswork, prohibitive agency costs, and strategies that didn’t deliver tangible results. Block Marketing was created to solve this problem for a deeply underserved market: successful businesses that need a cohesive, results-driven strategy for growth without the excessive price tag.

We will directly address the “Fee/Max” perception by clearly showing how your fee structure leads to higher net income for a producing agent, proving it’s not more expensive here—it’s more profitable.
- Transparent Rewards vs. Vague Promises. We will directly counter the complex “benefits” of competitors. We will empower prospective agents with critical questions about revenue share and stock options, highlighting the potential distraction from selling real estate and the uncertainty of those rewards. Our message will be clear: RE/MAX First offers a transparent, proven path to growth through transactions and personal brand, not complex systems that may never materialize as advertised.
- You Are Supported, Not Lost. We will contrast the “lost in the crowd” feeling of national cloud brokerages with your tangible support system. This includes your accessible leadership team, dedicated support staff, and a network of experienced agents available for real-time mentorship and questions. Support is the foundation of your offer to help agents build their business.
- A Culture of Ambition & Professionalism. We will authentically frame RE/MAX First as the home for ambitious agents who are serious about their craft. This is an environment where “iron sharpens iron.”
- The Benefit to Agents: Being surrounded by other high-performers creates a high-tide effect that lifts all boats. You grow faster when you’re learning from and being challenged by the best. We will send a clear message: If you are driven to build and grow a serious business, this is where you belong.
- Build a Career, Not Just a Job. We will directly counter the common question, “How many leads am I getting per month?” by reframing the conversation entirely. We will position RE/MAX First as a platform for entrepreneurship.
- The Benefit to Agents: We will articulate that our goal is to empower you to build a sustainable, long-term business asset with real equity – not a job that depends on a single, finite source of leads. We provide the tools and support to create a thriving business that you own and control.
- A Modern Brand That Attracts Clients. Our strategy extends beyond just speaking to agents. We will actively work to modernize and elevate the RE/MAX First brand in the public eye. Top-producing agents know that their brokerage’s public reputation directly impacts their ability to win listings and attract buyers. Through a new, sophisticated website and a polished social media presence, we will position RE/MAX First as a contemporary and dominant market force, showing recruits that you are actively investing in the tools and image necessary to generate more business for them.
- The Power of the Balloon. We will reinforce that the RE/MAX brand is the most recognized in the world, giving agents instant credibility. We will show how the RE/MAX brand acts as a powerful accelerator for an agent’s own brand, providing a foundation of trust that is impossible to build from scratch.
These messages will form the foundation of all copy, visuals, and campaigns we create, ensuring we attract the right kind of agent who will thrive in your environment.
4. Proposed Projects & Investment
Here are the proposed projects designed to bring the core messages of our strategy to life. The pricing for these project packages is based on a discounted project rate of $100/hour to provide the best possible value.
Priority 1: Build Your Digital First Impression
Our goal is to build a powerful recruiting and branding asset for your brokerage. Before reviewing the options, consider this question: What is the long-term value of attracting and retaining a top-producing agent? The right website actively works to prove your value, attract the right people, and grow your business. The following packages are designed to provide clear entry points for achieving that ROI.

This option provides a modern, flexible, and powerful asset that you own completely. It is the best long-term solution for building a brand that attracts clients and top agents.

Note: An agency would typically charge $10,000-15,000 for a similar website project.
Option B: Content & Design Overhaul (Within Your Existing System)
This option focuses on maximizing the potential of your current platform. It includes the new messaging and a downloadable PDF recruiting packet to aid your efforts. The higher estimated investment reflects the extra time required to work around technical limitations.

These estimates are based on building the following core strategic assets. The final fixed price will depend on the detailed scope we finalize together.

The most powerful way to provide social proof for your claims of superior support and culture. We will professionally film and edit interviews with up to 5 of your agents to create one powerful 90-second “Why RE/MAX First” video and individual 30-second clips for the website and social media. Alternatively, RE/MAX first could provide raw video to be edited to reduce costs.

A powerful recruiting tool that directly addresses the pain point of agents having to create all their own marketing from scratch. We will create a suite of professional, best-in-class materials that make your agents’ lives easier and their personal brands stronger. This could be a key feature advertised on the “Join Us” page.- Includes a package of branded, customizable templates determined useful to Agents. If these items are currently available, we would include featuring them within the website build (no additional cost).
- Investment: Quoted based on scale of project.
Priority 2: Engage Your Existing Network – Email Marketing
- Project 1: Email List Audit & Verification
- Investment: $250
- Project 2: Ongoing Email Campaign Management
- Includes: We will design and execute a campaign, sending two strategically written emails per month that reinforce your core messages. Note: This cost factors in a subscription to a professional email platform. If you have an existing platform, this rate may be adjusted.
- Monthly Retainer: $800/month
Priority 3: Build Your Brand – Organic Social Media
- Option A: Social Media Template Pack (DIY Approach)
- Includes: A suite of 12 professionally designed, easy-to-use templates for your preferred platform (Canva, Adobe Illustrator, etc.). Template examples include: “Agent Spotlight,” “Just Sold/Listed,” “Market Stat/Insight,” and “Why RE/MAX First (Core Value).”
- Investment: $1,000
- Option B: Done-For-You Social Posting
- Includes: We manage up to three social channels (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn) with mirrored content, creating and publishing one strategic post per week designed to communicate your modern brand identity.
- Requirement: To be effective, your internal team would be required to share key information with regularly (e.g., weekly top agent wins, upcoming events, photos from the office).
- Monthly Retainer: $800/month
Priority 4: Accelerate Your Reach – Outbound Advertising
Once your brand foundation is in place, paid ads are the fastest way to get your message in front of a targeted agent audience and generate qualified leads.
- The Strategy: We will run campaigns on platforms like LinkedIn and Google, targeting agents to challenge their perceptions, counter competitor claims, and drive draffic to the join us page.We ultimately want to spark consideration and position you as the best brokerage choice.
- Management Retainer Estimate: $1,500/month (Includes one-time campaign setup, plus ongoing management, A/B testing, and optimization).
- Example Monthly Ad Spend (Client-Paid): $500 – $2,000+ (This is a flexible budget that can be scaled up or down based on performance and goals).
5. Ad Hoc Work & Ongoing Support
Wordpress Hosting & Ongoing Support Plans
For clients choosing the new WordPress site, a monthly support plan is required to keep your investment secure, fast, and up-to-date. We offer two tiers of service:
- Essential Security & Hosting Plan: $50/month
This plan covers all the critical back-end necessities to ensure your website remains healthy and updated. It is the minimum required for us to professionally manage the site.- Daily Backups
- Security Monitoring & Malware Scans
- Core Software Updates for WordPress, all plugins, and the theme framework
- Premium Support & Growth Plan: $200/month
This is the recommended plan for a business that wants to actively use and evolve its website. It includes everything in the Essential Plan, plus a monthly retainer for hands-on work, ensuring your site grows with your business.Includes Everything in the Essential Plan, PLUS:
- 2 Hours of Monthly Priority Support. This time can be used for a wide variety of tasks, including:
- Client-Directed Content Updates: Adding new agent profiles, updating office information, swapping photos, publishing new blog posts you’ve written, etc.
- Minor Design & Functionality Tweaks: Small changes to colors, fonts, or layout as requested.
- Performance Optimization: Proactively running speed tests and optimizing images or code to keep the site fast.
- Strategic Marketing Changes: Implementing changes directed by Block Marketing to support our ongoing marketing campaigns (e.g., adding a promotional banner, updating a call-to-action).
- General Technical Support: Answering your questions and providing consultation on how to best use your new digital asset.
- 2 Hours of Monthly Priority Support. This time can be used for a wide variety of tasks, including:
Ad Hoc Work: Any requests or projects outside of the scope defined would be billed at a standard rate of $120/hour.
6. Next Steps & Recommendation
To truly solve the perception problem, reshape the narrative, and create a modern brand that attracts both clients and top agents, a foundational change is necessary.
While an overhaul of the existing system is possible, I strongly recommend the full website build on WordPress. It is the cornerstone investment that makes every other marketing effort, from email to social media, exponentially more powerful.
